How to play Spots

  1. 1Place the full set of tiles so every cell is covered exactly once
  2. 2A number is the region’s spot sum; = means all equal; ≠ means all different
  3. 3Tiles may only sit on two cells that share a side

Tips and strategy for Spots

  • Study the region labels first; a sum of zero pins that whole region to blank ends.
  • Regions marked with = take matching numbers, so place tiles that repeat a value there.
  • Remember that each tile covers two cells sharing a side, never a diagonal pair.
